The Premiere Global Sports Corporate (PGS Corporate) Athlete Business Index ("ABI" score) is calculated by combining survey results of Fortune 500 executives who use talent for corporate purposes. Executives surveyed are asked to score athletes' ability to succeed in ten specific corporate categories or functions. These categories include trade show appearance, keynote speech, sales promotion, clinic/demonstration, meet and greet, and others.

Athletes are graded on a point system from (1-10 highest) in each category. They are given a score for both local market presense and national marketability. ABI scores are calculated on a quarterly basis by PGS Corporate.
